ARCHIVE POST (preamble)
Archives, especially on the internet, are incredibly fickle in their morality. Something like the Internet Archive, a database looking to properly uphold the mantra that “the internet never forgets” is probably the most neutral you get when looking for archives on, or maybe more specifically about, the internet. When I hear the words “internet archival” two very different kinds of archives come to mind: The archive of the (nearly) entire life of an individual named “Chris Chan” (I highly recommend not looking it up) and the nonconsensual archival of Unus Annus.
